(VOVworld) – Opinion polls regarding the US early Presidential election have shown that Democrat candidate Hilary Clinton still holds a lead over her Republican rival Donald Trump.

Election specialist Michael McDonald of the University of Florida said that almost 6 million American voters have cast their ballots, mainly in Chicago in Illinois, Charlotte in North Carolina, Minami in Florida, Cleveland in Ohio, and Las Vegas in Nevada. Early votes will be counted on the election day, November 8^th.

Trump was optimistic that he is ahead of Clinton in the race for the White House. He said in Florida that he did a good job in North Carolina and is winning in Florida. He added that he believes in his overwhelming victory in Florida and in the election overall.
