(VOVworld) – Vice President Dang Thi Ngoc Thinh has said that Japan is Vietnam’s reliable partner in economics, culture, tourism, and others.

At Friday reception in Hanoi for Japanese Ambassador to Vietnam  Umeda Kunio, Madam Thinh said Vietnam is preparing for a state-level visit by the Japanese Emperor Akihito and Empress Michiko.

She added that the Vietnamese people and leaders attach great importance to this visit, considering it a milestone in the friendly relationship between Vietnam and Japan.

The Ambassador said the upcoming visit proves the bilateral ties is steadily progressing.
