(VOVWORLD) -New-Age Carrier Vietjet said it opened a route connecting Hanoi and Tokyo on Friday.

The Hanoi -Tokyo route operates daily return flights with a flight time of around six hours per leg. This is the carrier’s third route between Vietnam and Japan, after the Hanoi - Osaka and Ho Chi Minh City – Osaka route, aiming to meet the rising demand for air travel and promoting tourism, trade and cultural exchange between the two countries. Vietjet is a member of International Air Transport Association (IATA) with the Operational Safety Audit certificate.
