The Republic of Korea is the biggest FDI partner of Vietnam, contributing significantly to the shift of economic structure, job generation, trade balance, and promotion of social welfares in Vietnam.
Ms. Ngan said Vietnam has increased activities to encourage investment from the Republic of Korea and intensified comprehensive cooperation, especially in brand, production, and market development in the value chains. She said: “We hope that the business communities of both countries will capitalize on advantages and become key elements in economic cooperation and connectivity, contributing to consolidating and deepening the good relationship between Vietnam and the Republic of Korea. Your success is our success. Our doors are always open wide to welcome Republic of Korean investors to Vietnam. We vow to stay side by side with you.”
At the forum, NA Chairwoman Ngan and Speaker Moon witnessed the commercial launch of an air route connecting Vietnam’s Phu Quoc island and the Republic of Korea’s Seoul run by Vietjet Air.
