Vietnamese Ambassador to Argentina Nguyen Dinh Thao made the statement during a trade promotion trip to the Argentinean province of Mendoza that wrapped up on Thursday.

During a meeting with the Governor of Mendoza, Francisco Perez, Thao said Vietnam’s market for wine is growing, sparked by the recent rapid improvement in living standards.

Perez pledged to facilitate cooperation between the two countries and business circles.

During their 3-day stay, Thao and his delegation met with local vineyards and wine producers, and shared experience in irrigation with local experts.
