During their talks in Canberra, they emphasized that the two sides signing a new Letter of Intent for Cooperation, as the two governments upgraded their relationship to a comprehensive strategic partnership, will contribute positively to the common development of bilateral relations between Vietnam and Australia.
The two sides agreed to prioritize the practical and effective implementation of the agreed contents in the new Letter of Intent for Cooperation. They include policies on organized crime and transnational crime, money laundering and terrorist financing crimes, corruption crimes, drugs, human trafficking; serving judicial documents and collecting evidence abroad in civil and commercial fields; alternative dispute resolution methods, including international commercial arbitration and mediation.
In addition, the two sides pledged to cooperate on laws on digital transformation, green economy, circular economy, artificial intelligence as well as training and fostering legal officials and experts serving international integration.
