(VOVWORLD) -During the official visit to Australia, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh and his wife Le Thi Bich Tran met with Embassy officials and staff and representatives of the Vietnamese community in Canberra, on Thursday.

The Prime Minister affirmed that the Party and State always care about the Vietnamese community abroad.
He expressed his hope that Overseas Vietnamese in Australia will continue to join efforts to build a strong, developed and united community and preserve national cultural identity and Vietnamese language.
PM Chinh expected more practical activities to contribute to national construction and development. Overseas Vietnamese should always deserve and be always proud to be Vietnamese, he said.
