Vietnam, Bangladesh ready to boost cooperation
(VOVWORLD) - Vietnam and Bangladesh should share their experience in economic development, social security, poverty eradication, and gender equality, said Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Pham Binh Minh at a reception for Bangladesh Ambassador to Vietnam Samina Naz in Hanoi on Wednesday.

Mr. Minh praised the Ambassador’s coordination in preparations for President Tran Dai Quang’s visit to Bangladesh last month and called for her efforts to effectively implement agreements signed during that visit.
Ms. Samina Naz agreed to organize the Joint Committee’s 3rd meeting and the 2nd political consultation in Hanoi this year. She said Bangladesh will closely cooperate with Vietnam at international forums and the United Nations, actively supporting Vietnam for non-permanent membership on the UN Security Council for 2020-2021.
