In a video conference to discuss the implementation of UN resolutions on Wednesday, he said countries need to take responsibility for including the youth, peace, and security agenda in their national policy frameworks, raising public awareness, creating education, employment, and healthcare opportunities for youths, and addressing conflicts at their roots. Ambassador Quy said he supports making the youth, peace, and security agenda part of the permanent UN system, fostering close collaboration between the agenda’s operations and its host nations, and increasing exchanges between UN peace missions.
