(VOVworld) - Vietnam wants the WHO and other United Nations agencies to intensify their response to climate change by implementing projects of climate change adaptation, said a report presented by Vietnamese Health Deputy Minister Le Quang Cuong at the on-going 67th World Health Assembly in Geneva, Switzerland. Deputy Minister Cuong, on behalf of ASEAN members, delivered a report on the impacts of climate change on member countries’ human health and socio-economic development. He underlined the Vietnamese government’s determination to devise and implement action plans to address climate change from now to 2020. The 67th World Health Assembly will close on Saturday.
