(VOVworld) -  A Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation in border demarcation and the fight against trans-national crime was signed on Tuesday between border guards of Vietnam’s southern Tay Ninh province and police of Cambodia’s Kompongcham, Prayveng, and Svaireng province. The MoU included maintaining border security and conducting patrols.

Both sides agreed to combine their efforts against armed criminals, illegal entry-exit, and trafficking of weapons and drugs. They will continue following the border demarcation roadmap, focusing on raising people’s awareness of the law and facilitating cross-border trading.
