Vietnam hosts Asia-Pacific Ironman 70.3 Championship
(VOVWORLD) - 2,200 athletes from 50 countries and territories participate in the 2019 Techcombank Ironman 70.3 Vietnam, Asia Pacific Championship, which opened in Da Nang City on Sunday.

The 2017 and 2018 Ironman World champion Patrick Lange and Craig Alexander also compete this year. The tournament is being co-hosted by Vietnam and the Philippines. On Sunday, athletes raced in individual and relay team events consisting of a 1.9km swim, 90km bike ride, and 21km run on the coastal track along Da Nang beach.
