Vietnam is important in CPTPP negotiations: Canadian Trade Minister
(VOVWORLD) - Vietnam is an important part in negotiation process of the Comprehensive and Progressive Trans-Pacific Partnership (CPTPP), Canada’s International Trade Minister Francois-Philippe Champagne told reporters following the signing of the CPTPP in Chile.

The minister said Canada and Vietnam always stay side by side and need to understand each other’s level of development to make sure that an ambitious treaty will benefit the people. He stressed that Canada wants to strengthen the important relations with Vietnam, adding that the two countries can increase trade, while there is potential for their small and medium-sized enterprises.
