Minh told a ceremony in Hanoi on Monday to mark the Commission’s 40^th anniversary that the agency has been a bridge linking Vietnam’s history, culture, and people with the world: “The Commission has helped make culture, one of the pillars of modern Vietnamese diplomacy. This effort has inspired national patriotism, boosted socio-economic development, and promoted the image of Vietnam’s land and people to the world. With 35 titles recognized by UNESCO and having served as a member of prestigious organizations, Vietnam will continue to work with UNESCO to fulfill its tasks”.
