The delegation met Alain Rousset, the regional President, who showed keen interest in strengthening healthcare cooperation with Vietnam, especially in traditional medicine, and renewable energy.
Ambassador Thang said that the trip brings back to the core of French-Vietnamese cooperation, exploring recent successes in economics, investment, training, and healthcare. It also introduces opportunities to connect with new partners in industries such as energy, environment, and manufacturing.
During their stay, the group had a working session with Hydrogene de France SA (HDF Energy), which opened a representative office in Vietnam in March 2022, and signed a cooperation deal with Petrovietnam Technical Services Corporation (PTSC) in developing power projects using renewable technology and hydrogen gas using hypower technology in Vietnam and the Asia-Pacific, according to Mathieu Geze, Asia Director at HDF Energy.
He said that the Vietnamese market is crucial to us because it's large, growing fast, offers vast collaboration opportunities, and urgently requires carbon reduction efforts.
The group had working sessions with the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Nouvelle-Aquitaine, visited Bordeaux’s Montaigne University, one of five major research and training facilities in Nouvelle-Aquitaine, and the Centre for the Study of Foreign Languages, French and Francophone
