Vietnam, Singapore discuss implementing newly-established Comprehensive Strategic Partnership

During a meeting with Party leader Lam on Wednesday, the Singaporean President expressed his confidence that Vietnam will maintain its position as one of the most dynamic economies in the region, with impressive GDP growth, an attractive investment environment, and a continuously rising international standing.

The Vietnamese Party leader touched upon major directions and specific measures to implement the newly-established Comprehensive Strategic Partnership, including making the two countries pioneering partners in the region in collaboration in science-technology, innovation, digital transformation, energy, data connectivity, semiconductor chip production, new technologies, and artificial intelligence.

Mr. Lam shared President Shanmugaratnam's views on strengthening solidarity and cooperation between the two countries, as well as with other ASEAN member states, to enhance resilience and self-reliance in response to external challenges.

The same day, the Party leader and his spouse attended a special concert at the Concert Hall of the National University of Singapore.
