(VOVWORLD) - The Cambodian Embassy held a banquet in Hanoi on Monday to celebrate the 64th National Day of Cambodia (November 9) and the 50th anniversary of Vietnam-Cambodia diplomatic relations (June 24).

Addressing the event, Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Pham Binh Minh praised the organization of events marking Vietnam-Cambodia Friendship Year 2017, which helped educate Vietnamese and Cambodian people, especially youngsters, about the traditional ties.
Cambodian Ambassador to Vietnam Prak Nguon Hong said bilateral ties are developing and bringing benefits to the two peoples. Both sides regularly exchange high-level delegations and have made progress in trade and investment.
