Voice of Vietnam, China Media Group sign cooperation agreement

(VOVWORLD) -Voice of Vietnam (VOV) and China Media Group (CMG) signed a cooperation agreement on Monday, on the 75th anniversary of the establishment of Vietnam-China diplomatic relations (January 18), in response to the Humanitarian Exchange Year 2025, and within the framework of the State visit to Vietnam by General Secretary and President of China Xi Jinping.

The cooperation agreement focuses on exchanging and co-producing media content including news, radio products, online newspapers, and digital products on topics of mutual interest like economic development and cultural exchanges. Both sides will jointly report on major milestones in bilateral relations. In addition, VOV and CMG also agreed to provide necessary support for reporters from each other to involve in program production.

According to the signed agreement, the two sides will send staff to each other's agencies for training and internship in specific programs and conduct high-level exchanges. Simultaneously, they will coordinate to organize training courses and professional seminars in-person or online to share management experiences and improve the capacity of staff, reporters and technicians.

Both will increase the exchange of communication technology, cooperate in innovation as well as research and development of communication technology suitable to the conditions of each side, and increase the exchange of information on the latest communication technologies.
