(VOVworld) – Radio the Voice of Vietnam (VOV) wants to establish and expand cooperative relations, especially in information exchange and personnel training, with the All-Russia State Television and Radio Broadcasting Company (VGTRK), VOV General Director Nguyen Dang Tien said at a meeting with the company’s leaders at its headquarters where both sides briefed each other on their organizations’ operation and development plans. Mr. Tien said: "We’d love to establish a relationship with VGTRK and hope that this cooperation will facilitate our exchange of knowledge and experience"

VOV to boost cooperation with All-Russia State TV and Radio Broadcasting Company

Peter Fedorov, Director of VGTRK’s Foreign Relations Department, expressed his pleasure in receiving VOV’s delegation for the first time. Fedorov highlighted the importance of a partnership between the two agencies, saying he used to listen to VOV programs when he lived in suburb areas.

The VOV delegation met with the Vietnamese Ambassador to Russia, Pham Xuan Son to discuss coordination between the Vietnamese Embassy in Russia and VOV’s correspondents there.
