The testament was written and revised by President Ho Chi Minh several times from 1965 to 1969. Acting Director of the Truth - National Political Publish House, Pham Chi Thanh, told the workshop: “The testament reflects President Ho Chi Minh’s high sense of responsibility and devotion to the Party, to the anti-US national resistance cause and national construction, as well as international communism and workers movements.”

 More than 100 reports focused on the background the testament, Ho Chi Minh Museum’s development of the testament values, and outcomes from the movement Studying and Following Ho Chi Minh’s Moral Example. Vu Manh Ha, Director of Ho Chi Minh Museum, said: “President Ho Chi Minh’s valuable heritages in his testament include plentiful and profound contents, from ideology to practice, past revolutionary stages and future pathways. That is Uncle Ho’s wishes for national independence, freedom, reunification, and construction as well as international solidarity.”
