(VOVworld) – Victoria Kwakwa, the World Bank’s Regional Vice President for East Asia and the Pacific and former World Bank Country Director for Vietnam, was presented with an insignia on Tuesday for her contribution to Vietnam’s agriculture and rural development.

Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development Cao Duc Phat praised Ms. Kwakwa’s great contributions. During her term as the World Bank Country Director for Vietnam, the World Bank granted nearly 2 billion USD to Vietnam for agriculture, forestry, irrigation, clean water for rural areas, and disaster relief.
