World powers to discuss Afghanistan situation
(VOVWORLD) - UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson said Sunday that he will call a G7 online meeting to discuss the situation in Afghanistan.

The Kremlin said the same day that Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) leaders will hold an emergency meeting online on Monday to discuss developments in Afghanistan. US President Joe Biden said the US is making progress in moving its citizens and allies out of Afghanistan. He told reporters that the US’s top priority right now is bringing its people home and he hopes evacuation will be completed this month.
