Xi Jinping’s visit to Vietnam takes center stage

(VOVWORLD) - Major media outlets in China have extensively covered the state visit to Vietnam by Chinese Party General Secretary and President Xi Jinping.

People’s Daily, the official newspaper of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, dedicated its entire front page, plus additional pages, to covering the activities of Xi and his delegation in Vietnam and the friendly relations and exchanges between the two countries.
Xinhua News Agency published reports on the meeting between the two countries’ Party General Secretaries, where Xi said that building a China-Vietnam community with a shared future carries global significance. To strengthen it, he proposed enhancing political trust, expanding mutually beneficial cooperation, deepening public engagement and mutual understanding, and promoting closer multilateral cooperation.
A China News article about Xi’s visit to Vietnam said that in recent years visits by neighbors and comrades have characterized the relationship between the two Parties and the two countries.
In addition to extensive coverage of the visit and bilateral relations, China’s major state-run media, released digital documentaries and video clips of Vietnamese daily life, cuisine, and scenic spots.
