(VOVWORLD) -Three Vietnamese players will join the ASEAN All-Star in a friendly match against Manchester United, who are in the top tier of English football, next month, ASEAN Football Federation (AFF) has announced.

They are Nguyen Hoang Duc, Nguyen Quang Hai, and Do Duy Manh. All three were selected for their outstanding performance, professionalism, and fighting spirit, the AFF said.
According to the VFF, Hoang Duc stands out with his ability to control the flow of the game and creative passes. Quang Hai was chosen for his excellent technique and extensive experience against international teams, while Duy Manh’s leadership and strong defense are valuable assets.
Earlier, the AFF said Vietnam national team’s head coach Kim Sang-Sik will manage the 23-man all-star squad. Sang-sik was selected for having led Vietnam to win the 2024 ASEAN Cup.
The all-star line up will feature top talents from the AFF’s 12 member nations, including Australia. The match will kickoff on May 28 at Bukit Jalil National Stadium in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, which can host up to 85,000 seats.
