(VOVworld) – President of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Nguyen Thien Nhan on Monday visited and congratulated the staff and students of the Political Institute of the Defense Ministry on the 70^th anniversary of the Vietnam People’s Army. Mr. Nhan said that with its time-honored tradition, the Institute will continue to promote its achievements and renovate its educational quality to become a top national training center of political comrades and military research.


The National Library in Hanoi is exhibiting over 500 documents featuring historic milestones of the Vietnam People’s Army.

The Vietnam Feature Films Studio and the Vietnam National Documentary and Scientific Films Studio will screen films in many localities during a film week from December 22-28 to commemorate the Vietnam People’s Army’s founding anniversary.
