(VOVworld) – Minister of Natural Resources and Environment Nguyen Minh Quang said climate change adaptation requires not only government efforts and international support, but also the involvement of the people, political and social organisations, and businesses.

On Sunday’s TV program “People ask, Ministers answer”, Minister Quang said that because Vietnam is one of the 5 countries most affected by climate change, the Prime Minister has signed a National Strategy, Action Plans, and a National Target Program to respond to climate change. The government has set aside 140 million USD for climate change adaptation this year.
