(VOVWORLD) - An exhibition themed “Vietnam - Destination of Cambodia in 2017” opened in the Cambodiana hotel in Phnom Penh on Monday to mark the 50th anniversary of Vietnam-Cambodia diplomatic ties.
Vietnamese Deputy Minister of Information and Communications Hoang Vinh Bao said the event gave visitors an overview of political, cultural, economic, and diplomatic relations between Vietnam and Cambodia.
300 photos and 100 documents will introduce the culture, landscape and people of Vietnam during the integration and reform period. Bao said the organizing board hopes to bring Vietnam closer to the Cambodian people to foster the traditional friendship and all-round cooperation between the two nations.
