Addressing the closing ceremony, Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc praised the well-organized congress with 8 forums and a new, strong elected executive committee. He said he had high expectations for the Vietnamese young people. “The nation puts its faith in the younger generation, who should study and work to help Vietnam keep up with the times. You should be the vanguard with daring spirit in every field. I strongly believe many of you will be the future warriors of startups, the industrial revolution, global trade, and national defense.”

Prime Minister Phuc asked youth unions at all levels to support their members to prepare for the 4th industrial revolution and be more proactive in educating and protecting children and adolescence. He said: “Young people, particularly youth leaders, should be active in youth movements. Through those activities, we train them to serve the Party, the State, and the people. I hope that, the youth will be guided towards the core values of loyalty, creativity, aspiration, commitment, and responsibility.”
