President begins State visit to Laos
(VOVWORLD) - President Luong Cuong begins a 2-day State visit to Laos on Thursday at the invitation of General Secretary of the Lao People's Revolutionary Party and President of Laos, Thongloun Sisoulith.

President Cuong’s first State visit to Laos demonstrates Vietnam’s respect and high regard for its neighbor, as well as the as well as the two countries’ determination to deepen their special solidarity and comprehensive cooperation.
Deputy Foreign Minister Nguyen Manh Cuong emphasized that the Vietnam–Laos relationship is one of great friendship, special solidarity, and comprehensive cooperation.
Despite recent complex regional and global developments, the relationship between the two Parties and countries has continued to thrive, with frequent high-level exchanges and strong cooperation across various mechanisms.
