(VOVworld) – Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung is attending the 8th Cambodia-Laos-Vietnam (CLV) Development Triangle summit in Vientiane, Laos, aiming to promote trilateral cooperation in national defense, security, and socio-economic development.

Prime Minister Dung was welcomed at Wattay International Airport by Laos’ Minister of Justice Bounkeut Sangsomsak, the Vietnamese Ambassador to Laos, Nguyen Manh Hung, and Vietnamese people living in Laos. The 2-day event is significant for improving living conditions for the people in the Development Triangle. It aims to contribute to the Mekong subregion’s stability and prosperity and toward the formation of the ASEAN community by 2015.
