He also expressed hope for continued US support in achieving a sustainable peace solution for Ukraine. Writing on social media platform X, Zelensky said it’s crucial to promote real diplomacy to end the conflict as soon as possible. Ukraine remains engaged with the US and European partners in its pursuit of a peaceful resolution.
On the same day, the Ukrainian Parliament issued a statement supporting diplomatic efforts and sustainable ties with Washington, highlighting US President Donald Trump’s decisive role in seeking a resolution to the conflict.
Meanwhile, Russia continues to oppose the establishment of a peacekeeping force in Ukraine. The Russian Permanent Representative to international organizations in Vienna, Mikhail Ulyanov, on Tuesday said on Telegram that such an initiative must be carefully considered, arguing that peacekeeping forces must maintain neutrality, while organizations like the European Union have their own stance on the issue.
