5 million early votes were cast in Florida, which, according to Real Clear Politics’ poll, sees Clinton only slightly ahead of Trump (1%). All polling stations for early election in North Carolina closed on Sunday.
Both candidates are gearing efforts for their last-minute campaign. Clinton campaigned in Philadelphia on Sunday and will arrive in Michigan, North Caroline, on Monday. Trump has planned his last-minute campaign stops in Florida, North Carolina, Nevada, Iowa, Minnesota, Michigan, Pennsylvania, and Virginia. He is expected to be back to Florida, North Carolina, and Pennsylvania on election eve before showing at New Hampshire.
