(VOVWORLD) - The US Supreme Court on Wednesday rejected an attempt by the Trump administration to freeze nearly 2 billion USD in foreign aid that had already been approved by Congress.
However, while the ruling blocks the freeze, the Court did not specify a timeline for the disbursement of funds, meaning further legal battles over the issue may continue in lower courts.
The Trump administration has yet to issue an official response to the decision.
