(VOVworld) – President of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Nguyen Thien Nhan attended a workshop entitled “Vietnam’s achievements after 30 years of renovation and prospects for socio-economic development” on Thursday as part of his visit to Norway.

The workshop was co-organized by the Embassy of Vietnam in Norway and the Norwegian Institute of International Affairs.

Mr. Nhan said that after 30 years of renovation, Viet Nam has obtained important achievements in national industrialization and modernization and attached economic growth to cultural and human development, social progress, social equity, and environmental protection.  Vietnam enters the 2016-2020 period with stable macroeconomics and with global and regional integration creating opportunities to expand markets, perfect economic institutions, and restore domestic enterprises, which opens prospects for sustainable economic development.
