Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade of the Czech Republic Jiri Koliba made the statement at a seminar to bolster trade and investment between Vietnam and the Czech Republic held in Prague on Friday.

Koliba said he hopes that the seminar will help Czech enterprises know more about the business and investment environment in Vietnam, thus creating cooperation opportunities in economics, trade, and investment.

"Czech enterprises are interested in such an event as it helps them enter the Vietnamese market effectively. We’re willing to provide Vietnam with industrial products and get involved in infrastructure development in Vietnam. We are also seeking cooperation in mining," said Jaromir Dudak, a senior official in charge of Vietnam’s market at the Czech Ministry of Industry and Trade.
