The Party chief affirmed that the restructuring of administrative units and local administrations is being accelerated and closely monitored to prevent delays.

The restructured local administrations must be lean, efficient, and responsive to the people’s needs, contributing to rapid and sustainable development, national security, stronger international integration, and improved quality of life, he said.

General Secretary Lam highlighted three key national tasks: firmly protecting national sovereignty, peace, and stability; achieving development goals for 2030 and 2045 to make Vietnam a developed, high-income country; and raising the living standard for all people.
