Vietnam is one of the five most important markets for Warburg Pincus: CEO Perlman
(VOVWORLD) - Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh has urged Warburg Pincus to continue working closely with relevant ministries and agencies to build an expressway connecting Long Thanh International Airport in Dong Nai province with Ho Tram in Ba Ria-Vung Tau.

Receiving Jeffrey David Perlman, CEO of the global private equity firm and Chairman of the ASEAN-US Business Council in Hanoi on Friday, Mr. Chinh emphasized the expressway’s crucial role in enhancing regional connectivity, boosting tourism, and stimulating the development of auxiliary service industries.
He praised the firm’s partnership and sustainable investments in Vietnam over the past decade, acknowledging its efforts and commitment to expanding operations in Vietnam, particularly in Ba Ria-Vung Tau province.
CEO Perlman said Vietnam is one of the firm’s five most important markets. American businesses consider Vietnam a highly reliable partner and have strong confidence in its long-term potential and prospects, he said, adding that Warburg Pincus is always ready to provide consultation and support in proposing mutually beneficial tariff solutions between Vietnam and the US.
