(VOVworld) – Vietnam will hold a forum on ASEAN’s food and agriculture business environment in the post-2015 period in Hanoi from June 23-25. The Ministries of Agriculture and Rural Development, Foreign Affairs, and Public Security, and the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) will co-host the event.

The forum expects 350-400 delegates, including the ASEAN Secretary-General, ASEAN ministers of agriculture, forestry, and fishery, and representatives of ministries, departments, international organisations, and businesses. Forum participants will exchange ideas and propose policies which could boost agricultural production and farmers’ incomes and reduce environmental impacts. Their discussion will centre on seafood, coffee, corn, milk, rice, and tea.
