(VOVworld) – Vietnam’s Deputy Foreign Minister Ha Kim Ngoc and visiting Venezuelan Deputy Foreign Minister Xoan Pablo Noya briefed each other on recent developments in Vietnam and Venezuela and discussed ways to increase bilateral cooperation. During the 5^th political consultation between the two foreign ministries in Hanoi on Tuesday, Ngoc said Vietnam attaches importance to boosting comprehensive cooperation with Venezuela. He expressed his pleasure at recent progress in bilateral ties, adding that both countries enjoy a potential for closer economic and trade relations.The two deputy foreign ministers touched upon several regional and global issues. They both advocated the principle of settling sovereignty disputes peacefully in line with international law. They pledged further coordination at the United Nations, Non-Aligned Movement, Forum for East Asia-Latin America Cooperation, and other international organizations and multilateral forums.
