20 foreign delegations to take part in national reunification celebrations
(VOVWORLD) -20 international delegations have confirmed participation in activities to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the liberation of the South and national reunification on April 30, Deputy Minister Le Thi Thu Hang said at a press conference in Hanoi on Friday.

For the first time, 120 overseas Vietnamese from 25 countries and territories will participate in a parade.
Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Le Hai Binh pledged favorable conditions for media coverage.
Tran Thi Dieu Thuy, Vice Chairwoman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee, said the national ceremony will be begin at 6:30 a.m. on April 30 on Le Duan street and surrounding roads.
From April 19 to 30, HCMC will host a variety of celebratory events, including the "Colors of Uncle Ho’s City Festival”, the highlight of which will be a 3D mapping show with lights, sound, and symphonic-choral music. A 2,000-drone aerial display and fireworks on April 19, along with exhibitions and performances, will mark the historic occasion.
