Israel announces resumption of talks on next phase of Gaza ceasefire
(VOVWORLD) - Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Saar announced on Tuesday that negotiations on the second phase of the Gaza ceasefire will begin "this week."

Speaking at a press conference, Saar stated that Israel’s security cabinet had convened and decided to move forward with talks.
He emphasized that Israel remains firm on the "complete demilitarization of Gaza" and will "not accept the presence of Hamas or any other terrorist group" in Palestinian territory.
The second phase of the ceasefire aims to secure the release of all remaining hostages held by Hamas while working toward a long-term resolution to end the conflict.
