(VOVWORLD) - A series of cultural activities to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification (April 30, 1975) have been launched in Hanoi.

A display showcasing rattan and bamboo products called “Made of Bamboo” is running until April 28 while an installation art exhibition telling stories about Hang Bac Street, which is known for its silver work, is held at Kim Ngan Temple.
Workshops on the art of mother-of-pearl inlay will be held at the Hanoi Old Quarter Culture Exchange Center until May 22.

In addition, from April 25 to May 31, there will be a propaganda poster exhibition and an exhibition on cultural and tourism exchange between Hanoi and Phu Yen province in Hang Buom Street.
Other exhibitions in the series include a photo exhibition called “Memories and Legends,” an exhibition on Hoan Kiem Lake’s history, and an art installation called “Discovering Heritage.”
