In a televised interview on Saturday, AL Assistant Secretary-General Hossam Zaki emphasized the unified stance of Arab nations in rejecting displacement proposals put forward by US President Donald Trump. These proposals suggested relocating Palestinians from Gaza to Egypt, Jordan, and other Arab-Muslim countries.

Zaki also reaffirmed the league’s unwavering support for the Palestinian people, as well as for Jordan and Egypt in their opposition to such plans. He added that discussions are underway regarding the potential convening of an Arab summit to address the Palestinian issue.

The Arab League’s renewed stance comes amid rising tensions and heightened international attention on the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, with regional leaders continuing to call for a just and lasting resolution.
