(VOVWORLD) - The head of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) Rafael Grossi has announced that he will travel to Tehran this week ahead of the next round of nuclear talks between Iran and the United States.

Grossi wrote on X on Monday that continued engagement and cooperation with the Agency is essential at a time when diplomatic solutions are urgently needed. According to a diplomatic source, the visit is expected to take place on Thursday. Grossi last visited Iran in November.
