(VOVWORLD) - Quang Nam is striving to complete its program to remove temporary and dilapidated houses by October this year. Nearly 5,600 houses have been demolished so far, approximately 47% of the plan.
 Funds are given to support housing construction for disadvantaged households in Tay Giang district, Quang Nam province.

Quang Nam has been providing preferential loans, adjusting housing quotas, and ensuring lump-sum capital allocations to localities.
Luong Nguyen Minh Triet, Secretary of the Quang Nam provincial Party Committee, said: “Resources are being mobilized from the central government, from the local budget, and from businesses and individual donors. We have sufficient resources for the program, but implementation must engage the local community so that the donated money will be used effectively.”
