(VOVWORLD) - Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Chi Dung met with Mr. Tang Feifan, Mayor of Ningbo city, Zhejiang province, and visited the Ningbo Free Trade Zone on Tuesday as part of his working visit to China.

During the meeting, Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Chi Dung expressed Vietnam’s interest in learning from China's experience in boosting the private sector development, expanding free trade zones, and implementing reform policies, particularly in Zhejiang province and Ningbo city.
Mayor Tang Feifan expressed his belief that the Vietnam-China Comprehensive Strategic Partnership will continue to grow steadily, particularly in international trade and industrial development cooperation.
While touring the Ningbo Free Trade Zone, Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Chi Dung reaffirmed Vietnam’s commitment to advancing the development of the private sector. , urging the leadership of Ningbo FTZ to share experience in developing free trade zones and specific incentives for the private sector.
The leadership of Ningbo FTZ highlighted the zone’s rapid development over the past four years, leveraging deep-water port advantages, strong industrial production capacity, and an extensive trade and investment network.
As part of the visit, Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Chi Dung and his delegation also held working sessions with the Development and Reform Commission, the Zhejiang Provincial Federation of Industry and Commerce, and visited leading enterprises.
