(VOVWORLD) - Israeli police reported that at least three parked buses exploded at a bus station in Bat Yam city on Thursday.

There were no casualties. Tel Aviv police subsequently discovered five more unexploded timed explosive devices in the area before they could be detonated. Authorities are investigating the explosions as a terrorist attack.
Israeli authorities ordered a nationwide search for explosive devices on trains and buses, and increased security measures were implemented at Ben Gurion International Airport, including searches of all arriving and departing buses. No group or individual has yet claimed responsibility for the bombs.
