(VOVWORLD) -The 4th round of political consultation between the Vietnamese and Indian Ministries of Foreign Affairs took place from Sunday to Wednesday in New Delhi.

During the talks, the Indian side acknowledged Vietnam's outstanding achievements in socio-economic development and foreign affairs.
The Vietnamese side expressed their wish to strengthen cooperation with India in economics, trade and science and technology.
The two sides also discussed regional and global issues of mutual concern.
As part of the bilateral political consultation, the Vietnamese Ministry of Foreign Affairs’ delegation worked with leading research organizations in India.
